Computers, tablets and phones are very private and personal places. They are often full of sensitive information like bank details and things you wouldn't want to share with other people. Our job is to fix your computer, not to poke our noses into your personal files. We respect your privacy and always adhere to strict rules on protecting your data. If we have to store your data while we work on your device, it is always kept offline in a secure place. No one has access to it except Danitek Repairs.


Once the work is complete, your data is securely deleted.

With your permission, the only information we keep is your name, address, telephone number and email address. We do not share these with anyone. In accordance with General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) you can request to see this data at any time and we will delete it upon request.


However, we are required by law to keep a record of any financial transactions.

Danitek Repairs Terms of Service

If you appoint Danitek Repairs, the following are our terms of service.

1. Authorisation
The client authorises Danitek Repairs to conduct an evaluation of the computer/device or other equipment and provide an estimate of repair cost and timing. The evaluation is free and no work beyond this will be charged without explicit client approval.

2. Limited Liability
In no event will Danitek Repairs be liable for any loss of data, loss of revenue or profits, or any special, incidental, contingent, or consequential damages, however caused. The client is responsible for maintaining a secure and complete backup of all data held on the computer.

3. Confidentiality
Danitek Repairs agrees not to disclose any information or data files supplied with, stored on, or recovered from the client's equipment.

4. Payment
Unless by special previous arrangement, payment is due in full upon completion of  a successful repair. Payment will be taken prior to the release or return of the repaired computer/device or other equipment.

5. Warranty
All new replacement parts will carry the suppliers 12 month guarantee and if proved faulty will be replaced and installed free of charge.

6. No fix, no fee policy
Our no fix no fee policy means that if our Technician does not possess the necessary technical knowledge or ability to resolve the problem or effect the repair, then no charge is made to the client.
